HERALDICA IVAFHAFIANA
IVAFHAFIAN HERALDRY
For over eleven years, I have been immersed in the study and design of heraldry. This discipline, which blends history, art, and symbolism, has always captivated me for the way it represents identities, lineages, and values through shapes and colors. Throughout this time, I have created numerous coats of arms, each with its own meaning and character, seeking to adapt heraldry to South America, to emerging forms of citizenship, and to a family-centered and inclusive approach. Below, I share a selection of my work, the result of years of dedication and passion for this art form.

“Casa de la Cultura Corocora” Project
A project to create a cultural center was launched in Villavicencio, Colombia. This was the first emblem I designed as part of that initiative.

Ivafhafe Coat of Arms
It wasn’t a random choice; over time, this name became an extension of my creative voice—a space where I’ve been able to explore, make mistakes, and build. Today, after more than a decade, I felt it was time to give it a symbol—a shield to represent and protect it. Creating this emblem is my way of honoring everything I’ve lived under this name: the search, the struggles, the artworks, the unanswered questions, and the answers that came with time.
This shield is not just a design; it’s a statement of permanence. A mark that reminds me why I began and pushes me to keep creating.
